Butterfly A Butterfly's Touch
was formed in memory of Abigail Renee Wheat who went to heaven August 9, 2002. The name, "A Butterfly's Touch," was created by Doug (Abigail's Grandfather). He thought it would represent Abigail in many ways. Before Abigail left us and went to be with Jesus, butterflies were a symbol of the short life we knew she would have here with her family. The main reason Doug found this a fitting name was that at Abigail's funeral, during the prayer, a little orange butterfly landed in Abigail's casket flowers and was there just long enough for us to finish the prayer. It then flew away into the beautiful sun.
